replacement monthly (by appointment only)

Students
may earn credits for a certificate in one of three areas:
Accounting - Computer Skills -
Business Skills
The benefits of these certificates are to gain business
knowledge, add to your portfolio, use during interviews or use
as an extra. |

PRE PSW Prep |
|
This is available through Gateway to
Learning program for students that need to upgrade their skills
prior to taking the Personal Support Worker course. |

Basic Computer Classes |
|
Learn basic computer skills 3
afternoons during the week from 12:30 - 3:30 pm (continuous
entry). Evening classes are offered twice a year on Monday and
Wednesday nights. |

English as a Second Language |
|
Evening Classes (Mon & Wed) are
available during the school year. These classes are
small and open to anyone over 18. |
|
Special Interest Courses |
|
Safe Food Handling and First Aid and CPR courses are offered
periodically throughout the year. Please watch for signs or call
the school for details. |

Gateway To Learning |
|
The Gateway to Learning
program offers FREE education to ADULTS ONLY. If your goal is to
refresh your basic skills in preparation for moving forward to
either furthering your education or obtaining employment, this
program is available at the Strathroy Adult Learning Centre (SALC).
The goal is to help adult learners return to work, school or
pass the GED test.
The Gateway to Learning
program will help to refresh and update your reading, writing
and math skills so you are well prepared and more confident in
your ability to move forward in your goals. The focus is on
reading, writing and math and includes basic computer
instructions for those unfamiliar with computers.
If you have been laid off
work and you are trying to find your way back into the economy
you may need to refresh some of your basic skills and/or upgrade

Family Service London
has support, strategies, and suggestions that can make the difference
between sinking and swimming. Counselling for a variety of individual,
family and relationship issues is available at the GAIN Centre for
residents of Middlesex who are experiencing financial hardship which acts
as a barrier to getting help they need. This service is made possible
with the funding support of the County of Middlesex.
